Hello. i have a dell vostro 1710, i installed windows 7 64 bit and i'm having trouble finding the right video driver for my nvidia 8600 m gs. dell support recommends to install the vista 32 bit video driver.. The windows 7 upgrade tool specified that i can upgrade to windows 7; 32 and 64 bit with no problems, except with maybe a few incompatible stock programs from 2005 -- which i don't care about -- and a driver for my wireless netgear usb adapter -- which it told me to download the newest driver, then install it after installing the new os.. This package provides the driver for the nvidia graphics card gt640 and is supported alienware x51, inspiron 6xxx, optiplex xe, 9xxx series, 3010 and 7010, vostro 2xxx and xps 8xxx series that is running following windows operating system: windows 7 and windows 8..
