My software for my deskjet 2520 won't open. the printer prints but i can't access the toolbox. i have windows 7 (32 bit). i re-installed the hp - 6473244. After that, the hp 2130 software won't open but printing and scanning (directly from hpscan.exe) is ok. the utilities is running only if certain issue happened w/ the printer (like paper out, ink iow, etc)..
If hp printer assistant does not open, and the printer setup & software screen displays, click connect a new printer, and then follow the on-screen instructions. restart the printer and computer to complete the installation.. I have a hp printer, copier, fax, scanner all in one printer. everything works but the scanner. the message says "make sure the feature is open. open hp printer software. select scanner actions. then.
